Esse Quam Videri is a Latin phrase meaning "To be, rather than to seem (to be)".
When I started OBORNE CONTRACTING INC., I wanted to ensure this company's foundation was built on truth and integrity. I wanted to ensure the company I was constructing would be exactly what I would be portraying it to be. Unlike other companies that may “seem to be” but are not. I had to look no further than my own Family Crest for the motto and inspiration I required.
To guarantee that success superseded failure, using the family name to represent the product and service was a natural choice.
